Do you think he'll still remember by september?

theres this somewhat mean guy in my grade who is, i hate to say it, a little into himself and whenever we talk im the one who has to IM him first. i would like to be his friend sure, but i dont bother with him much because hes too hard to get to know. about 2 or more weeks ago i asked him if he still liked this girl he told me he liked last year, and he signed off and i think he is annoyed with me although it was the first time we had spoken all year. i asked out of curiousity, not because i like him and i feel embarressed that i asked now. do you think by the time school starts in september he will remember me asking who he likes? ill feel embarressed if he thinks i like him and i dont want him to remember that question everytime he first sees me. what do you think?
