What are the difference between the Awakening of the Kundalini, Self Realization, Enlightenment, and Samadhi?

There are a gazillion Web links and cults and groups that discuss this. It is all pretentious jargon, though. And why ask a Q if you alread know the answer? "Self-realization" and "enlightenment" are terms to describe becoming clear and truly conscious instead of automated and neurotic. "Samadhi" is a state of utter meditative absorption in which the sense of self and duality are suspended. "Awakening the Kundalini" is more pretentious jargon but is a process, usually achieved through meditative practices and other yogic disciplines, through which psychodynamic complexes begin to shift and become attenuated, freeing up and changing energy and thought patterns. Yogic and meditation exercises have a neurodynamic effect, actually, and the practices rearrange and prime neural pathways in the brain, resulting in ecstatic and cathartic states that can be transformational. In fact, although people covet the ecstatic and altered-state experiences of Kundalini work, they are only byproducts of neurodynamic physical changes that are occurring in your brain and body.
