How much does it cost you to own your horse (�) per year?

Okay well, my horse is around �160 on boarding a month and �25 every 3 weeks-ish on feeding. My hay and everything else is included. Buying your horse and everything else is the cheap part, everything else is the expensive part, the upkeep if you like. Every 6-8 weeks your horse will need shod which can be anything up to �100 for a full set. Your horse will need hay/gr at all times. Insurance depends on what you are looking for! The less you do with your horse the less expensive the insurance will be! If your ready to have a horse i think you need to do a little more research, although this is a start! good luck.
