What do you think of a Southern Texan accent?

I grew up in the Northwest, but have lived in South Texas for many years. I love the way people talk here. Texans are expressive and are great story tellers, direct and to the point. And baby, you have never been flirted with until a smooth cowboy throws a few sweet words and a wink or two your way. In business, I speak and write very formally. But at the end of the day, I can kick off my shoes and talk S#!% with the best of them. I agree with you on George Bush... but he is not representative of the many great Texans I have grown to love over the years. The late Ann Richards was a jewel. She would not have been the same without her accent and big hair.
